Advice on evidence for OC1 vs. OC3

Hi there - I’m trying to figure out if I should go for OC1 (innovation) or OC3 (contribution) for exceptional promise on the business (non-technical) route.

Does anyone know if innovation in OC1 refers to the product being innovative, or your work specifically being innovative?

For context, I was CMO and part of the founding team of a tech start-up that launched a really innovative tech product, and my role was around commercial traction of that product. The start-up hasn’t really scaled yet (raised $2.5M and 10 B2B customers), so is it better for me to try for OC1 (innovation)? Or OC3 because of the commercial nature of my role?

Evidence I have is:

  • Employment contract and options contract
  • Letter from co-founder showing my role in launching the product
  • Commercial metrics around lead gen, customers, pipeline
  • Materials showing the product was innovative (news articles in trade publications, technical litepaper showing innovative approach, screenshots of experts acknowledging world’s first on social media)

Would love to hear if folks think this fits OC1 or OC3 better. I’ve got separate evidence for OC2.

Thanks so much for any help - I really appreciate it!

I think you are better of with OC3 as what you have described is impactful.
