@ask4jubad and @alexnk. For command high salary, apart from employment letter in company A, can I use payslip (monthly) from company B? If yes, how many months should I add?
@alex_james as far as I can tell this should be just fine.
I would suggest that you use some sort of a summary if you have one, like a yearly report showing you consistently getting paid well, plus bonuses and such.
Just as @Ido_Moshe has mentioned, payslips should be fine since the guide states that one may show history of earnings. The last 3 months or one for every quarter in the last year (for instance, March, June, Sept and Dec) of leaving compay B should be fine. Donāt forget to include details of how your salary compares with others in your country or profession.
Thank you @ask4jubad and @Ido_Moshe. I will do that. I only worked for the product led company (uniteus.com) for 10 months. Lastly, please when filling tech nation form, there is a section that asked are you looking for a job in the UK. Is it okay to say no, since Iām already working remotely for a US based company and preparing to launch my start-up later this year⦠Would saying No in that section be an issue or I should also say that I am going to fill a role where there is shortage as a software engineer? I know there is actually no right or wrong answer but what would you suggest? Thank you
Based on personal experience, saying āNoā should not be a problem.
@ask4jubad @alexnk. Thereās a lil problem. Iām about to submit and I just decided to preview my application again and I noticed something in my letter. I really donāt know how I missed that partā¦
One of my recommenders (very well known individual if Googled) used his Gmail account (@gmail.com) for his email instead of @company.com. Isnāt that a big RED flag? Should I consider reaching out to him or its not a big deal?
@alex_james Gmail is fine if the person is not working in any company anymore.
But in your case, I recommend to request a new letter using his company email, which will make the letter more legit and stronger, especially if it comes with compnay letter head.
I think it is a valid request and the referer should understand and should have slight/no issue with it.
