Urgent: Need help reviewing Documents for evidence for UXR

Hello everyone!

I am a UX Researcher and have struggled to figure out how to submit evidence. Could you request a review, please? I am worried that, as a Researcher, I will be unable to demonstrate that I have led work instead of just being a contributor. Please share feedback on how I can make this more obvious or impactful. I want to get your feedback on (1) Is this evidence sufficient for each category? (2) How do I ensure it’s crystal clear that I led the product-led growth or led the specific project?

For Mandatory Criteria: I am considering submitting a combination of these.

  1. Led growth of a product-led digital technology company, product, or team - I set up and scaled two distinct research programs for driving product-led growth at Meta - A continuous discovery program and a rolling research program, as a result of this 5 biggest blockers for product adoption were identified and executed on. I unblocked researchers and marketers across organisations, resulting in 15 features being launched. (This is for a product org, not just for my team, so I led research, marketing and product teams for product discovery and evaluation to establish product-market fit.) - As evidence, I can share the design of programs, feedback from Leadership in my reviews and publicly accessible product experience.
  2. Commanded high salary or remuneration - I have received very high salary (above average)
  3. Held significant expert role panel participation or assessing work of others - I published an article on UX BootCamp, which was shared by industry leaders, I mentored as part of a UK Gov UCD program, and I also was judged for a new blood awards panel as part of D&AD.

For OC1 - Innovation - Is this project sufficient to show innovation?

  1. Evidence of innovation/product development and market traction - I designed a one of its kind research for training ML model for personalisation based on user segmentation and jobs to be done - as evidence I can share the research design and publicly available experience
  2. Evidence of innovation/product development and market traction - Letter from a product director detailing my research contributions that led to the release of AI products and new technical ad products that led to product adoption and its customer adoption impact.
  3. Employment contract with salary, earnings history bonus & equity - Additional equity letter that was awarded as the outcome of my work.

For OC3 - Technical Contribution

  1. Product designs or architecture diagram (specifically by you) [Technical] - I designed a benchmarking program for a fintech startup I worked for and defined metrics for the program, and it became the baseline for User Experience Measurement there. Other researchers worked on it, but it was primarily my proposal, and I led the project here. How do I clarify this better?
  2. Led development of high-impact digital products or services [Technical] - I led research to define onboarding and digital card experience for a digital bank account in the EU when it was a fairly new product in 2020-21
  3. Employment contract with salary, earnings history, bonus & equity - I plan to submit my current contract with bonus and equity letter,r which is comparatively above-average

Please share any feedback you may have regarding this evidence. Lastly, I also want to ask if I should submit my application in the UX Design or Business category. Since I am a growth researcher, I have a commercial impact in terms of the number of customers who adopted the product and the revenue impact it had, but I am not sure which category would be better.

Your Meta experience leading research programs shows good potential, but you’ll need to quantify the impact more precisely - particularly around the 15 features launched and how you specifically led those initiatives rather than just contributed.

The high salary evidence is straightforward and should work well. For the expert panel participation, I’d suggest focusing more on the UK Gov UCD program mentoring as it demonstrates clearer leadership than the article publication.

For OC1 (Innovation), your ML model research work seems promising but needs to emphasize your direct leadership role. The letter from the product director will be crucial - ensure it explicitly calls out your leadership in driving the AI products from concept to launch. The equity letter provides good supporting evidence of impact.

For OC3 (Technical), the benchmarking program could work well but needs to clearly document your leadership role - perhaps through supporting letters from team members or documentation showing you as the project owner. The digital banking experience work is interesting but may need more technical depth to qualify for OC3.

Given your focus on growth research and commercial impact, I’d recommend applying with Business in mind rather than UX Design. Your evidence shows stronger alignment with business outcomes and product-led growth than pure design work.

Remember that each piece of evidence needs to be unique and you cannot reuse the same evidence across different criteria. Make sure to include clear metrics and quantifiable impact wherever possible, and have your reference letters explicitly call out your leadership roles rather than just contributions.
