Two Detail Questions About MC Evidence

Hi there;

First of all thanks for all the contributers. I have already learnt a lot from this community. I see that approval letters (or evidence of recognition) are strong in MC. The guide also declares that letters provided by an immediate colleague, manager, or friend are not sufficient.

Here is the question 1. I have been managing a digital company for about 15 years and planning to get a letter from my partner who is in charge for also 15 years. How does TN consider this evidence? Is he my colleague or an industry expert?

And the 2nd question. In the same part of TN documentation, it is said that the the letters should be taken from industry experts. Does this mean that the person is an expert in the industry they specialize in? Or does it mean people who are experts in the digital industry? I’m asking because one of our products is used by a large company. This product is related to cars, and the person I’m planning to get a reference letter from is an expert in the car sales industry. Do you think this will work?

Thanks in advance for all the responses and comments. I’m looking forward to it.

For LORs you need letters from people who have a strong profile in digital technology to be caller experts in tech. For support letters in evidences towards criteria the letter can come from non-experts but good to have as much possible from tech.

Support letters are insufficient to succeed in any criteria.

hi @pahuja thanks for the detailed answer. I will also add extra evidences with support letters. If you don’t mind, could I get your comment on my second question?

In the meantime, I’d be happy to read other people’s comments, too.

Experts in digital technology for LORs and for most support letters. If one off support letters is not from tech industry like a customer in a non-tech who used your tech product then it would be fine
