Hello House,

Please I need support with how to get the application started. Went on gov.uk last night be it appears I started the stage 2 application instead.

Please I need guidance on how to apply for the endorsement itself and possibly the direct link.

My evidences:

  • Evidence Uk event management website that has over 14530 successful registration post launch

The evidence structure needs restructuring before submission. MC currently describes the scale of each system rather than your specific contribution. Assessors want to see what you drove, how you drove it, and what changed as a result of your role. Platform-wide dashboards do not validate authorship. Each MC piece needs a third-party artefact naming you (a sign-off from the product owner, a project citation from someone senior on the project) that ties the outcome to your work.

The tax project appears under both MC and OC3. The same piece of work cannot support two criteria and the assessor will discount one or both. Pick where it belongs and use a different piece for the other slot.

OC1 as drafted looks like product delivery, not innovation. A launched product with registrations shows scale, but OC1 requires the technical or product innovation to be recognisable to a peer in the field. If there is a novel approach in how you built these (a new architecture, an unusual product decision that reshaped how the problem was solved), reframe around that. Otherwise this is your weakest criterion and would benefit from a different piece.

Thank you so much @Akash_Joshi each LOR did state my contribution to improvement on the platform. The signed off document at each release for the tax system the Senior product manager has not been forth coming to share. Each C-level stated the roles I played that led to changes with metrics

For the event management application I was the application lead manager and QA Lead using my experience as a product manager

Please can you clarify on your statement that I can’t use MC1 finances on OC3

The rule is one piece of work per criterion. Tax Revenue Project under MC and ETax under OC3 read as the same underlying system, and assessors treat that as double-counting and discount the weaker slot. Keep the tax work where it lands hardest and find a separate piece for the other criterion.

LORs are useful supporting context, but they sit alongside the evidence rather than inside it. Each MC piece still needs an artefact embedded in that evidence itself that names you and ties you to the outcome, like a release sign-off from a technical lead or a project citation from a senior peer on the same team. If the product owner is unresponsive, chase someone else on the project.

You need to start with stage 1 first. Once you are able to make payment for stage 1, you will then receive information on how to send your documents to Tech Nation via the Home Office afterwards. Not immigration advice, for informational purposes only, based on publicly available information online.

On your evidence, an E‑health project with over 100,000+ users does not, on its own, show that you have extraordinary ability through sustained (or emerging) national or international recognition. You need to demonstrate a level of expertise in the project. Can you show how you led the growth of the company, led a team, or led the development of the product? A tax‑revenue project with millions of users is a good adoption metric, but how did this come about as a result of your expertise? Can you show what you actually did that led to the growth and the product?

OC1 is about innovation. The e‑commerce and event‑management websites are not innovations, and registrations alone will not show that the product was innovative. Sales and adoption metrics are validating evidence, but they are not sufficient on their own without showing what the innovation they are validating.

For OC2, you listed activities such as an AI workshop and mentorship, but you did not show how they advanced the sector or how you were recognised for what you did. You also did not state the evidence you are presenting for these contributions.

OC3 is not about academic contribution, it is about technical or commercial contribution to a product‑led company. What you listed does not show any technical or commercial contribution.

Also, you selected OC1, OC2, and OC3. You are supposed to choose only two out of the four OCs.

To be honest, you need to go back and read the Tech Nation guidance again. Your evidence does not properly meet most of the criteria, and it is weakly presented.

Yes, I have been able to get the senior product owner to help with sign-off evidences. I am to actually to state the actions I took as the product manager that led to the impact as given in my LORs while writing my cover letter

@Raphael @Akash_Joshi can I use screenshots of GitHub from my engineers as part of evidences for MCs?

Are we allowed to include additional supporting evidences?

@Efezino_Omorobe You don’t own the engineers work. You can show artefacts that belongs to you that show how you led growth, company direction, team or product development. And honestly, with the evidence you’ve listed, you’re still not ready.

MCs

  • I have signed off- project Logic Flow and Go- Live process with my name on it as contributed. I led the cleansing of inventory data which had received of duplicate items and out of stock items which mismatched stock count and impacted ROI across 12 clinical location and improved the records at 65%, led the patients record data merging as existing patients had multiple records due to re-registration when visiting a different branch and it impacted patent clinical record for proper medical consultation. This led to 40% patient record cleansing. As incorrect or incomplete medical record could impact support given to patients
  • I have signed off as created by me to enable taxpayer’s understand the process of pre audit and post audit filing. Introduced in-team demo of implemented features during sprint to improve stakeholder sign-off during actual sprint demo
  • I have signed-off feature release document by stakeholders with my name

Your signed-off logic flow, with your name on it, will show that you contributed something that was accepted. A taxpayer’s process filing and a feature release document will show that you did something within your organisation that your manager approved and signed off as done, but this will not show how you led a team, influenced company direction, or contributed to the growth or development of a product. The person who signed is the one with the leadership responsibilities. Also, all this evidence is internal and not externally validated by a reputable platform, individual partner, or organisation, and there is no element of recognition in any of these.

For OC2, Mums & Toddlers NGO is not relevant to the sector. For NextGenslum, can you show an invitation that states what you were invited or approached to speak or mentor them on, the impact and reach of what you did, and a founder’s mention or publication that can support your claims? You mentioned “mentor sponsored” does that mean it was a sponsored event or sponsored mentorship? OC2 should not be a promotional or sponsored event. Can you show how many people were impacted? LinkedIn tagging, mentions, and posts with your picture are not taken seriously.

OC3, was your contribution done in a product led company? You need to clearly show what you contributed that led to the commercial outcomes. Because you are not a marketing expert, commercial metrics are not your primary artefacts, but you can use them to validate that the results came from your contribution. Your TCRT may be dismissed as not relevant to your discipline or to the kind of contribution expected from the calibre of people who get endorsed through this route.

Just as I said, if it’s possible, take some time.

You need to start with Stage 1 (Endorsement) first, not Stage 2 (Visa application). Once you receive the endorsement decision, you can proceed with the visa application (Stage 2).

Regarding your evidence, the structure is reasonable, but I would suggest a few improvements. For the Mandatory Criterion, make sure the projects demonstrate your personal leadership and impact, not just large user numbers. Employer letters, product ownership, measurable outcomes, and independent recognition will strengthen these documents.

For OC1, your e-commerce and UK event management product evidence can be suitable if you clearly demonstrate the innovation behind the products and explain your personal role in delivering that innovation. Where possible, include evidence that validates the novelty or impact of your work.

OC2 is appropriately mapped, provided your mentoring and workshops were voluntary and supported by invitations, testimonials, or organiser letters.

For OC3, focus on your significant personal contribution to the products with measurable commercial or technical impact. Avoid duplicating the same ETAX evidence across multiple documents unless each document highlights a different aspect.

Finally, as per my experience, publications are not mandatory. A strong application can succeed without them if you have compelling evidence across your chosen criteria.
