Tech Nation application questions

Hello,

I am working on filling out the Tech Nation application and I have a few questions.

  • In the application form you can choose Data & Analytics or AI & Machine Learning. My skillset is truly a mix of data science, data engineering, and AI work. Which should I choose? In an ideal world I’d be able to choose several, as my work touches upon several areas in the data field.

  • Do I say I am actively looking for a job in the UK? I’ve only applied to 1-2 a month ago but I wouldn’t say I am actively looking at this current moment.

  • Does it matter where you put to live? I’m still not 100% sure which region.

  • Intended UK address? I don’t currently live in the UK, so what should I put here?

  • Company registration number - is this the tax number?

Thanks in advance for helping to clarify the above!

Hi @amcam33

  • You can include all fields and show evidences covering your work in all aspects. You dont need to restrict to one if your work experience has been varied.
  • You can position as you like. Active or non-active is not a factor for TN to endorse you.
  • No, but one of the requirement as per guideline is to mention a region you would like to live in and you can position something there.
  • You can say it will be based on the visa endorsement and when you move to the UK.
  • Where is this field? As an individual candidate to Stage 1, company registration number is not a required field.
