Whether you’re applying for talent or promise. Make sure you state that and mention why. I see some recent assessment included this clearly and if they will assess you talent bare in mind meeting the criteria is higher standard than promise. They’ll be expecting higher contribution and advancement to the field.

If you want to proceed with promise. Ensure you make it clear in your application why you believe you fall under promise.

OC1 is about product and digital innovation: to show what was innovative, your contribution to the innovation and its impact, market traction and associated third party validation.

Your set in MC doesn’t show this hence can’t be swapped with OC1.

Here are suggestions, that may work with your narrative and evidence list:

MC (Mandatory Criteria)

  1. Invited as a speaker or panelist at three national and regional industry events, including “Women in Tech” and “Women in Cyber.”

  2. Outside of your normal day-to-day job role you led the delivery of an AI security framework that was nationally adopted. This should be supported by a confirmation letter from a manager or a reference letter(s) from global senior project executives.

  3. You command a high salary or other forms of remuneration for your services, as evidenced by commercial or employment contracts and a documented history of earnings.

High salary is okay if supported with evidence or your narrative demonstrate how you have made a significant impact in the sector beyond your day-to-day activities.

Your PhD, your research contributions and sector speeches should demonstrate how you have made a significant impact in the sector beyond your role and day-to-day activities.

OC2 (Optional Criteria 2)

  1. Served as a mentor at the national AI authority of the “country” through a structured national initiative. Your mentorship activities contributed to the advancement of - Insert specific outcomes or initiatives .

  2. Presented at the IEEE INFOCOM conference with over 100+ academic and industrialist - You can show other significant viewership, maybe people who joined remotely or the recorded session on YouTube being watched.

  3. If available, include any published papers that could reasonably fulfill the criterion: “An op-ed or news article that exemplifies thought leadership or provides evidence of mentorship.” (Optional)

OC4 (Optional Criteria 4)

  1. Awarded a PhD - in insert research area

  2. Published papers in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals with over 83 international citations.

  3. A letter from your PhD supervisor or a reputable academic who knows your work attesting to the rigor and impact of your research, and its contribution to academic
