Stage 2 : Visa Duration after switching from Skilled Visa to Global Talent Visa

Hi All,

My spouse has switched from Skilled Worker Visa to Global Talent Visa. She was already on the Skilled Worker Visa for the past 8 months. Unfortunately, this duration was not counted in her Global Talent Visa and the Clock got reset.

Can we request Home Office why the clock was reset in Global Talent Visa?

Please advise your thoughts or someone with similar experience?

what do you mean by the clock got reset?

Clock reset is nothing but the visa period has started freshly when you switch from Skilled Visa to GTV.

Can you please advise if the time duration of Skilled Visa will also be counted towards ILR?
