Stage 1 waiting times?

I can genuinely relate to how this waiting period feels. It’s completely normal to feel unsettled when timelines don’t go as expected, especially when others receive decisions earlier or out of sequence. There are many reasons why timelines can differ. Public information shows that holidays, workload fluctuations, and the complexity of individual applications can all influence processing times. I believe some application are straightforward (A yes or no decision) while others sit in the middle and naturally require more careful review.

It is important to note that a delayed decision is not in itself a negative sign. It often just means your application is receiving the attention it deserves.

If there’s no response after the stated timeframe, you can reach out for clarification. Until then, keep your hope alive but also prepare yourself mentally for any outcome.

All the best.

Hi everyone,

Decision came in today, I wasn’t endorsed. Thank you so much for the support.

I will be appealing, and if still unsuccessful, definitely trying again.

All the best to those still waiting.

Hi @darl24,

Sorry to hear this news, particularly after you had to wait nine full weeks. I’m rooting for your appeal.

Could you please share your proforma when you get a chance? I applied and got referred on the exact same days as you, but I’m still waiting to hear back.

I’m curious to see what might have made your application take seven weeks to process, and if there are any similarities to my own profile.

So sorry to hear that, @darl24

Wishing you the very best with your appeal, really hope it turns around for you. Thanks as well for sharing your timeline, it really helps the rest of us still waiting.

@kontrol you applied and were referred on the same dates as @darl24 have you received any update yet?

Hi @thor , I haven’t heard back yet. Stil waiting.

sorry mate, you could still win the appeal, if you can share your proforma so people here can give some insight on what to include in the appeal. goodluck!

I got my decision this morning.

Applied Dec 14
Referred Jan 12 (due to them not seeing my documents the first time I sent)
Decision email Feb 21 (proforma dated Feb 17)

I was rejected unfortunately. I met the two OC criteria, but not the MC criteria. Will be appealing and can update y’all when that happens! Best of luck everyone.

Hi all. I’m sorry for the all rejections, hopefully you all will be endorsed after appealing.
My timeline:

  • January 19 applied
  • February 01 referred
Of course no results yet, but keep you updated. Looks like we don’t have a lot of people who submitted in January, hopefully TN will start respond faster.

Sorry to hear that @cheeze
Thank you for sharing your timeline with us.
If you don’t mind, could you please share your proforma? It would really help others understand the feedback.
Wishing you all the best with your appeal, I hope you get a positive outcome…

I have exactly thesame timeline as you. No feedback too

Did anyone get a response today?

Hi @cheeze
So sorry to hear about this. I hope you get positive feedback on your appeal.

@kontrol , @Babsthepanda

Have you gotten feedback yet?

I have not @Rachel yet

Wao . So sorry about this .
Having to wait for 8 weeks for ‘negative feedback’ is actually very stressful . If it’s the usual two/three weeks timeline , the expectation/anxiety can still be managed .

Are you planning to appeal ?

Yeah, I’m planning to appeal. There were some gaps in the assessment that I think should help overturn the decision.
