Thank you. I hope you get a positive response soon.
Sorry bro
Goodluck on your appeal
Did anyone else get a response today ?
Hi @gabsjeey
Are you still waiting for a response?
Thanks
Can you share your timeline as well @thor ? In the interest of contributing to the community ![]()
Might help in calming a lot of nerves
Hi @cheeze
Are you still waiting for a response?
Thanks,
Thor
Hi, Sure!
Exceptional Talent
I applied on the 7th and it was forwarded to Tech Nation on 20 January.
Note: Inside the UK
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my timeline to hopefully help ease some anxiety for those who are still waiting.
Timeline:
- Application submitted: 11th Dec
- Referred to Tech Nation: 2 Jan
- Decision received: 4th Feb 11am ish
- Result: Endorsed (Exceptional Promise)
During the waiting period, I didn’t see any LinkedIn profile views or other “signals”, and there were days when it felt really hard not to overthink. But in the end, the decision just arrived suddenly without any warning.
From my experience, waiting 4–5+ weeks after referral is completely normal, especially around the holiday period. Not hearing anything, or not seeing profile views, doesn’t mean something is wrong.
I know how stressful this process can be, but if you’re still within the normal timeframe, please try not to panic. Your application hasn’t been forgotten, it really does arrive when it’s your turn.
Wishing everyone the best of luck and hoping you all get good news soon.
Thanks @CccLin1 for sharing.
I agree. But it’s been over 2 weeks after you got results. We were referred on just 2 days after you.
What we are asking for is transparency. Now people who got referred on 5th, 7th and 12th have heard back both endorsement and refusal.
Hence the anxiety
Hi all, I’m still waiting on my endorsement decision from Tech Nation but here is my timeline so far as I applied for Exceptional Talent outside the UK:
- applied the 7th January
- forwarded to Tech Nation the 21st January
a bit less than 4 weeks waiting today, didn’t see any LinkedIn profile views or other “signals” so far. (Just as a note, it took me about 2 weeks to get approved to comment on this forum.)
Okay good luck on your application
We need more people like you to speak up about their timeline so we can know howit’s going for everybody that’s why it’s a forum
Hi @kontrol,
I have a similar timeline as yours. No decision yet.
Applied - December 22nd.
Referred - January 5th.
No decision yet. Hoping this changes soon.
Hi everyone,
Here’s my timeline and situation update for my exceptional promise application.
Application submission: 22nd Dec
Referred to Tech Nation: 5th Jan
There has been no decision yet and I realised today that I accidentally omitted my personal statement from my original submission. I have now sent a follow-up email with my personal statement and the complete documentation.
What could this mean for my application? Would the 8 weeks timeline (I am applying within the UK) restart once I receive a referral email again?
Disappointed would be an understatement at this point. Please advise.
Hi @darl24,
Your personal statement was submitted via the application form. This must have been forwarded to Tech Nation, so you don’t need to worry about it too much.
Thank you for sharing everyone. Feels relieving to see that there are more people in the same boat
Thank you @staa99
This has not been easy on the mind, I checked and realised that this was the case. Now I have gone ahead to resubmit again. Do I tell them to disregard or what?
Hi everyone, hope everyone is calm. Sharing my timelines:
Applied: 18th Dec
Referral: 2nd Jan
Endorsed: 18th Feb
Thanks to @Raphael whose posts on this forum is probably the best resource to apply.
Hope everyone get positive results
Congrats @cocubes that’s great news!
Thanks for sharing your timeline as well, really helpful for the rest of us still waiting.
All the best for Stage 2!
@darl24 You dont need to worry as you need to submit personal statement in the form itself. Dont need to send separately i guess.
We have similar timelines. Please keep us updated if you hear back
