Says 3 weeks in stage 1 for acceleator led apps. the 3week/8 week seems to be stage 2.
They mention upto 8 weeks. Although going back in this thread, it seems like they generally come back in 2 weeks post referral. We are already in 3rd week for those who got referred in the first week of January. Barring one person, no one else reported hearing back.

I think I am inclined to say that the timing you should follow is the one that came with the email you got when it was referred to tech nation, because they mentioned the number of weeks it will take for the application to be processed by tech nation, and I am guessing this will be location based due to various proofs available on the platform of people getting endorsed or rejected who are outside the UK.
I have received forwading email from home office today. I applied for Exceptional Promise but Email mentioned “Thank you for your application for Global Talent (Exceptional Talent).”…is it a mistake by home office to shift my application to talent instead of promise??? Do i need to worry ???
Yes kindly send them a mail
To follow up it might be a costly mistake
Because if your evidences don’t fall under the talent criteria you could get rejected

Only 1 person reported result. Last updates were from the batch of 21-22 dec referral. Not sure if home office referred people between 24th-2nd. But post that, many people reported referral from 2nd to 5th.
@kontrol, the person referred on the 5th was from outside the UK, so this could be the reason for the difference, as you were referred on the 4th and are still waiting.
I don’t think there is any difference in stage 1. I’ve applied from outside UK as well. 3 weeks already over for me post referral.
Whats the home office refereal date of a person who got decision very recent ???

Can you share your source for this info? I cant find any information that says they will revert in 3 weeks for people outside UK. That’s only for stage 2. For stage 1, they just say upto 8 weeks. Although historically it’s generally <3 weeks for most cases. Even last january, people were hearing back in 3-10 days. I can understand some delays in referral due to the new process. Not sure why TN is taking so much time. For sure, lot of anxiety for everyone waiting.

It’s just recent patterns
And from things I’ve seen online:
- They don’t release endorsement results individually they only do that for rejections
- They group them in batches before sending out
- At this it’d be unusual if they’re still reviewing an application that for referred since 4th it’s probably admin delays now
- Sometimes they are waiting for the decisions to meet a particular threshold before sending over which causes most delays for endorsed cases
- There are certain uncommon cases where rejections wait till 3 weeks (in recent times)
- If you submitted a very solid case…just be at peace and hope for the best you’re probably in a good spot already
- They don’t batch release rejection mails
I also believe there are instance where decisions cross the 21 days SLA
