Just received today (17-Oct-2025) an update that my application is now referred to TechNation.

I applied for the Exceptional Talent route on 8 October (early morning) and received the confirmation email about half an hour later. However, I still haven’t received the notification that my application has been referred to Tech Nation. Has anyone else experienced a similar timeline?

I also applied the same day and just received (45mins ago) an update email.

I submitted the application data to the home office on September 28th, and got the confirmation on October 12 saying that the case has been transferred to TN. Still waiting for the result.

Anyone here who shares a similar timeline got their stage 1 results already? Would love to know about your waiting time.

Timeline 2025 for Exceptional Talent.

09/27: Sent the application to Home Office
10/12: Case transferred to tech nation.
10/27: Stage 1 endorsed.
10/28: Stage 2 passed. (Super urgent case).

When you reach stage 2, you will have three options. By paying £1020 more, you can get a decision within 2 working days.
