Does anyone know how long are the waiting times for stage 1 currently? I applied for Exceptional Promise on March 20th - there are no edits, no updates as of yet.

My Timeline for the Archive: First-Time Application - Exceptional Talent

  • Application Submitted: Friday, 28th February
  • First Edit: Monday, 3rd March 2025
  • Second Edit: Friday, 14th March 2025
  • Third Edit: Monday, 17th March 2025

I received my endorsement on Tuesday, 18th March, but I wasn’t aware of this at the time. Despite checking my spam and deleted emails, I didn’t receive the confirmation email. It was only after I emailed the Home Office this Monday - almost a month after my last edit and over six weeks after submission - that they responded and provided a copy of my decision letter.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, sending an email as you approach the 8-week deadline is a good idea.
