Background

I’m currently an Associate Product Manager for mobile applications at a leading UK retail company, planning to submit my application next year. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on my evidence portfolio.

Letters of Recommendation

  2. Director of Online - Current company (evidencing recent achievements)
  3. Former Head of Product - Previous colleague (providing independent assessment)

Mandatory Criteria Evidence

MC1: Career Progression & Compensation

Secured 13% salary increase within 6 months of joining
Employment contracts demonstrating salary progression
Pending promotion and salary increase in the new year

MC2: Significant Business Impact

  • Led product development initiatives resulting in 10x revenue growth
  • Supporting evidence:
    • Performance dashboards with revenue metrics
    • Reference letters from the Head of Platforms and Product
    • Detailed conversion improvement documentation

Optional Criteria Evidence

**Implemented an innovative tool that increased revenue **

Quantitative evidence:
- Conversion metrics (before/after implementation)
- ROI analysis demonstrating business impact
Qualitative evidence:
- Documentation of solution championing
- Senior Product Manager reference specifically addressing this initiative

OC2: Professional Recognition & Development

  1. Professional Certifications:
    • PSPO Certification
    • Product School Certification
  2. Academic Achievement:
    • MSc in Digital Business (with Distinction)
    • Research Publications (With few views and citations)

The plan is to apply by Q2 next year, any advice on what I could improve on my application between now and then to improve my chances of getting the endorsement

Hi @iQAi You need to strengthen all criteria.

In MC, salary proof is considered a weak supporting evidence. Apart from salary proof you should aim to have 2-3 more evidence documents.

You need atleast 2 evidence per criteria - need more solid innovation examples in OC1 backed by letters and third-party evidence.

OC2 is about public presence and the evidences you have listed don’t really count. Please refer to the official TN guidelines to go through the examples of evidences accepted and align with those.

It appears you do not have sufficient and compelling evidence to meet the criteria. Read the tech nation guide and add other Examples that show you have been recognised as a leader. Salary increment and product documents is not sufficient.
