Hi,
I’m an AI engineer and I’m hoping someone can help rate my chances at an endorsement!

I started my career in 2016 as a software engineer and have since moved into AI engineering

Recommendation letters:

  1. Current CTO of a UK based start up (previously my tech lead at another company)
  2. CTO at a German based start up, previously CTO at another start up I was an engineer at
  3. General Manager at an Australian bank, previously director level roles at a company I worked at

MC Criteria:

Publications: I have written a book on Gen AI, and it currently has 5000+ accesses on Springer. I have a 5 articles on dev.to ranging from 300-3000 views
Salary: I have evidence from my past 4 work engagments of a high salary. Invoices, work contract and proof of average salary in the UK from glassdoor
Conferences: I have two major conferences (with about 700+ attendees). One in the MLops/AI space and one in Golang

OC Criteria:

OC2: 3 conferences and online presentations
OC3: Work contract as a principal engineer, and reference letter from the data science manager
Screenshots from current work GitHub account, my position as lead on 3 projects and a reference letter from employer

What do you all think?

Hi @rushi good first set!

I think you could have a few more evidence documents esp because you will fall under the Talent route.

Since your MC has 3 currently, could you add one more evidence document along with a support letter?

OC2: do these conferences qualify as leading digital tech conferences with 100+ attendees? What forums are the online presentations in?

Assuming you will have 2-3 different evidence documents for this criteria?

OC3: can you include a bit about any significant work project in your first doc?

Thanks for replying

For MC, I was going to split the conferences into two as I’ll have reference letters, screenshots slides etc for both

do you think I still need to add more?

for OC2: yes they all have more than 100 attendees, are well known (one is Google Development Group and online one is Analytics Vidhya)

for OC3: I was going to include more about my gen ai work as a principal engineer and supported by the Data science manager

Would you also have pictures of you speaking on the main stage at the conferences?

for the MC:
One conference was online, but I will be attending again this year in person ( I couldn’t go in person last year) - would that be a problem?

For the second one, yes I will have photos of myself presenting, plus youtube channel which features me on stage and has 5000+ views

For MC, it should be ok till you can show its a leading event with significant audience and have a letter.

For OC2: Leading a workshop or running a session at a conference is insufficient - not sure if your online presentations will fall under this.

okay thank you!

For OC2: Analytics Vidhya is a leading Data Science and ML platform and I did an hour long “datahour” presentation on Gen AI & observability. It’s not a workshop or a session at a conference, its kind of an alternatitve altogether

If they are leading digital tech events/conferences it is ok. Otherwise it’s a risk.
