Hi everyone, is it mandatory for ALL your evidences to exceed one year? Or I can use some evidences that are not yet up to a year?

You can use evidences from within last 5 years. Your LORs should be from people who have known you for atleast 12 months.
@pahuja thanks for your response. Just to be sure, are you saying I can use an evidence, say speaking engagement I did in January, in my application I want to do in June?
Yes! All evidences from within 5 years are valid. However if any external event or article is very close to application date then it may get flagged if it is the only event AND close to application. However all evidences from last 5 years are acceptable.
It is usually not advisable to use evidence close to the timing of your application. I would consider 6 months evidence recent unless you have diverse evidence that span different years.
Thank you @pahuja @Francisca_Chiedu. It’s clear now.
Yes, evidences need to be at least consistent for 12 months.
@Akash_Joshi thanks for your reply. Are you saying all evidences must be within 12 months? I’m not sure I really get what you mean. Please kindly provide more context, thanks.
Yes. Are you sure you’ve been through the guidance here - Global Talent Visa | Tech Nation
Yes, I have.
“All activity you are providing as evidence for the Mandatory Criteria should have occurred within the past 5 years. Note that any evidence which has been made solely to support the timing of your application is unacceptable. Evidence should demonstrate a consistent level of activity over time.”
I asked that question cos I have seen people use evidences that were not up to a year old and I was wondering if that doesn’t show that their evidences were too close to the timing of their application. I just want to be sure my application will not be rejected cos some of my evidences are not up to 12 months old.
Say if your evidence is 3 months old and all your activity is within 3 months they might reject you saying you are too early in your career. Also i would argue that if you are actually too early in your career try working for some companies in your country before thinking of immigration.
Thanks for your response @Pankaj_Doharey really appreciate. I’m 3 years in my career. 2 of my evidences are from 2023. The rest are from November 2024 to date. And I want to apply by October, is that OK?
Yeah that seems good to me.
If all or most evidences are recent, they will go under the impressed that you fabricated everything for visa application.
Just be mindful of this.
Thank you @reachusama
