Hello,

Here is what I have in mind for the application for endorsement. Please advise if anything is missing/needs to be changed. Looking forward to your advice.

About me:
I am currently in the UK on an Overseas Business Rep visa managing a subsidiary of an Indian company here in the UK.

I have previously worked at a MAANG company as a Technical Training Specialist, however, my job role was that of a specialist and included DevOps/SysOps tasks as well.

Personal Statement:
Will explain my profile and journey so far along with the reasons how I can help the UK digital technology ecosystem.

CV:
My complete profile with experience of more than 10 years.

Letters of Recommendation:

*CEO of a product based company who knows my work.

*Foudner & CEO of a global firm which buys/manages online businesses. I handled their tech stack as a part of my previous company - He describes how I helped their revenue increase multi-fold.

*CEO of a software company who I have worked for explaining my work and impact.

Mandatory Criteria:

#1 – I led the development of a unique platform while at my previous organization which increased the annual revenue by $5m for the company.

Evidence:

  • Details of the product architecture and case study
  • Reference letter from the tech lead verifying this

#2 – I conducted a series on a popular streaming platform related to certification. The total count of viewers was more than 70,000. This was when I was working for the same company as above but for a different project.

Evidence:

Screenshots and links for the videos which shows total number of views.

#3 – Salary details from my job at MAANG with RSUs.

Evidence:

  • Salary slips and contract mentioning RSUs.
  • Glassdoor comparison with similar roles.

Optional Criteria 2:

#1 – I led an industry-academic partnership initiative where I educated more than 3000 students on cloud technologies across multiple universities. I was one of the first Educators in India (and youngest one). This was a structured program and was out of my day job.

Evidence:

  • Details of the program and my achievements.
  • Letters from University Principal/Deans confirming the program conducted.
  • Reference Letter from the Global Program head for the initiative.

#2 – I was a part of mentorship program at a University College which included students from multiple universities. The program was a structured program with strict selection criteria. In this, I helped validate students’ startup ideas and helped them design prototypes. The program had experts from various fields – I was one in digital technology field.

Evidence:

  • Details of the structured program and a few case studies I helped out with.
  • Images of me in few of the sessions.
  • Reference letter from the Lead of the Mentorship Program verifying the information.

Optional Criteria 3:

#1 – Work as an employee (lead) at a digital product startup.

Evidence:

  • Details of project which I led and managed that contributed to cost reduction and increase in user capacity – application sustained 20x users.
  • Reference letter from the Owner of the company verifying the information.

#2 – Work as an employee at a digital product startup.

Evidence:

  • Details of infrastructure modifications done by me which added system stability to the platform.
  • Reference letter from the Owner/CTO of the company verifying the information.

Please review my application and let me know if pieces of evidence are enough or if I need to add more or shuffle them around.

I am not sure I understand your evidence 2 for MC. What do you mean by conducting series on a particular stream platform? Is this a conference or virtual learning session?

This was a virtual learning session consisting of 6 episodes on Twitch.

How many people attended

For the live session, more than 3500 people were attending. Currently, the videos have more than 70-80k views.

sounds like a high profile event

@Francisca_Chiedu Yes it was a high profile event. It was even mentioned in Tech Republic, however the link has been taken down now, reasons unknown.

This was on the official channel of the MAANG company I worked with. The reference letter from the global lead would also have this information along with the impact.

Do you think this and other pieces of evidence are sufficient for the endorsement?

You need to be careful with your recommender mentioning the conference as it may be perceived that you were invited to speak as part of you day job or company sponsored event.

@Francisca_Chiedu this was while I was employed by the same company. However, it was not a part of my job, but a different project I volunteered to do. Will this make the criteria invalid?

Also, what do you think about the other Criteria?

For your OC3 you need to add revenue …screenshot of numbers, sales…. How your impact improved the growth, revenue

@Mide Thanks for your input. I can add the user metrics for the architecture (number of users on the platform). However, I do not have access to the sales or revenue numbers as I have left the organization. Would it be sufficient if the reference letter mentions the revenue and numbers?

If the reference letter talks about the revenue it’s good. But you still have to show the revenue in your evidences as a picture……

Also keep in mind that anything your referee said you’ve done in a firm ….you must say it too in your evidence wither by text or by pictures

But it’s always good to add the sales pictures or revenue of a company you worked for in your OC3 evidences for a stronger evidence TN always request for revenue as part of the impact

I’ll suggest you reach out to the sales team for numbers ….then you can do the infographics yourself

@Francisca_Chiedu What are your thoughts on this? I am planning to submit for Stage 1 in a couple of weeks. Anything I should change or add?
