Please review my application — Product Manager / Senior Analyst

Hello there. I am applying as a Product Manager/Senior Analyst at VC fund. I’m applying as an Exceptional Promise since I switched my career from a content editor in 2018 to VC Analyst and then to Product Manager roles. Please review my application:

Personal statement highlighting my career switch and various roles: from a Senior VC Analyst to the Product lead

Recommendation letter 1 — ex-Apple executive whom I helped with the fundraising mentioning my work for a VC fund as a senior analyst

Recommendation letter 2 — managing partner at VC firm I used to work for highlighting my career switch and product development after my work at the fund

Recommendation letter 3 — CEO at a service for which I worked and moved them to a custom CMS, launched several messaging bots and monetised it to $10k MRR

MANDATORY CRITERIA:

  1. Proof of development of a mobile application with statistics from App Store (DAU 10-15k) and three personal mentions in online medias about it

  2. Proof of employment at a video streaming startup with 7M audience and media mentions of product updates with me as well as public speaking at a tech event about it

  3. Proof of employment at a VC fund as a senior analyst with fund’s mentions on Crunchbase and Signal

  4. Proof of employment as a Product Lead for a TelCo corporation with a job offer and internal presentations mentioning me as a Lead

  5. Snapshot of a Google Analytics page for a web service I worked for and a reference letter from my employer proving the spike in visits and growth of financial metrics

  6. Contract for a development of b2c-product for a venture studio with wireframes for it

OC 2: proof of recognition for work beyond the applicant’s occupation that contributes to the advancement of the field

  1. Public speaking at tech events: Screenshots from events and photos

  2. Mentoring: screenshots from a 10k business development community where I am a community lead / screenshots from my educational course on Business Strategy on another digital tech company’s website / screenshot from a banking service where I am mentioned as an expert in the product management field

  3. Podcast: screenshot of my tech podcast with 5k listeners and a screenshot of a nomination for an award for it

OC3: at least 1 example of significant technical, commercial or entrepreneurial contributions to the field as a founder or employee of a product-led digital technology company

  1. Snapshots of a pitch deck from a user research SaaS where I am a co-founder / media mentions of a service / snapshots from a dashboard with clients and paid services

MC: Are the online media mentioning you reputable? Include details about the media and its target audience in your evidence. Your speaking engagement should also be a high-profile event for an audience of up to 100.

How does this show work done outside your immediate occupation to satisfy OC2?

in that case, I think that it shows work as an online teacher. Probably, the reviews on the course will be helpful

Your OC3 needs more examples to strengthen your application.

Thinking of adding an Investment Option from an acclaimed accelerator. Meaning that this is an outside proof that company is advancing the field
