Please help review my application -- Product Manager / Business Analyst in Data Team

Hi All,
I will be soon submitting my application to Tech Nation for GTV Exceptional Talent. I have total 16 yrs of experience and current working for an Investment Bank ( Information Technology Department)

My submission of documents will be as below:

Three Letter of Recommendation ( managers from Investment Bank and Stock Exchange)

MC:
2nos Evidences of Public Speaking at University / College
2nos Evidence of Publication on leading media platform
1nos - Salary increment of 10% every year for last 3 financial years

OC:
OC#2 → 2nos evidence on helping an organisation on providing technical training/assistance on IT.
OC#3->
1nos: Roles and Responsibilities printed on Company Letter Head (Investment Bank) that me working on inbuilt developed application as Product Manager and also as Business Analyst / Program Manager.
1nos: Letter of Recommendation from a Executive Director (ED) in current organisation validating my profile and current held position, plus my contribution and achievements w.r.t Project1.
1nos: Letter of Recommendation from another Executive Director (ED) in current organisation validating my profile and current held position, plus my contribution and achievements w.r.t Project2.
(both project1 and Project2 are executed in last 3 years)

Invest bank may not pass for productled digital technology company. Your evidence are not so strong for exceptional talent. Yo need to demonstrate that you are a recognised leader. Please spend some time to read the tech nation guide and list quality vidence that meet the criteria.

Thanks for replying. Its difficult to understand on why the Investment Banks doesn’t pass for product-led-digital technology company. There are so many applications that are internally built by dedicated IT departments. They are people with IT Skills and are educated from reputed technology institutes.

Q1- If the company letter head of an Investment Bank says that Person X works on internal developed application at a role of Product Manager / Business Analyst - will that satisfy the Tech Nation endorsement criteria ?

Q2- The Job Descriptions for new hirings (posted online by my company) clearly states that my application is internally built. Does that prove as an evidence that I am working for a product-led-digital technology company. Please clarify ?

You are mixing 2 things here. Read more at Tech Nation Visa Guide - Tech Nation

  • businesses that provide a proprietary digital technical (read at Single definition of “Digital technology sector” and “product-led”:)
  • Technical / Business background (Read at: Typical applicants)

Its your duty to prove that what your sub-organization falls in the "Digital technology sector” or “product-led” as per Tech Nation Guideline.
