Please help review documents for Exceptional Talent (Cybersecurity Manager)

Hi everyone,

I would greatly appreciate your feedback on my profile as I prepare to apply for the Exceptional Talent Visa in the Digital Technology sector.

I have over 9 years of experience in Cybersecurity and currently work in Singapore for one of the world’s leading Cybersecurity product companies. My role as a post-sales Cybersecurity Services Manager involves leading a team of 13+ consultants across the APAC region. I also have prior experience with other cybersecurity product and services companies, and my entire professional background is in this field.

Below are the documents I plan to submit, but I would appreciate your guidance on the most appropriate category for each:

Documents:

  1. 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Field CISO of my current company (Singapore)
  • Cybersecurity Director from a product-based company (India)
  • Security Director of a leading government-backed organization (Canada)
  1. Personal Statement
  2. CV

Mandatory Criteria:

  1. High Salary Range
  • I plan to submit payslips and supporting documents verifying my high salary range in Singapore.
  1. Led the Growth of a Product or Team
  • Recommendation letter from the Global Vice President of my current company (USA).
  1. Led Business Development
  • Recommendation letter from a Security Advisor in my company who is also a recognized industry expert (Singapore).

Optional Criteria:

  1. Op-ed or News Article Exemplifying Thought Leadership
  • Mentioned in a reputable Moroccan newspaper for a talk I gave to executives at a conference.
  1. Speaking at High-Profile Sector Events
  • Photos of me speaking at a renowned tech conference in India, along with a brochure screenshot and attendee summary.
  1. Published Material in Professional Media
  • Article published in one of the oldest technology magazines in South Asia.
  1. Evidence of Mentorship Outside My Organisation
  • Certificates and appreciation letters from professors at top universities in Asia and Europe for guest lectures I delivered.
  1. Cybersecurity Certifications
  • CISSP certification, which is considered a master’s degree equivalent in the UK.
  1. Additional Documents
  • Reference letter from a customer who is a senior executive at a bank and a notable security expert (India).
  1. Additional Documents
  • Reference letter from an experienced colleague who is a distinguished Principal Security Architect.

Any advice on how to categorize these documents or any other tips for strengthening my application would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @pbb27 Have you gone through the official TN guidelines here Tech Nation Visa Guide - Tech Nation and identified which 2 Optional Criteria’s are you suited to apply for?

The #4-7 looks like OC2 and maybe fine. But #8-10 are unclear: which is the other OC you are trying to attempt?

Your MC is weak as salary proof & letters are insufficient to succeed in MC. You will need more to prove this criteria.
