Thank you for your time.

Hi @Kunmi_Ibrahim You are supposed to choose 2 OCs out of the 4 options and provide atleast 2 evidence in each selected.

Can you please reframe your brief to highlight which 2 OCs have you selected and which are the 4 evidences towards them?

Thank you @pahuja but as suggested, I have reframed the brief. Just want to be sure you see the update and if I am good to go ahead

I think you hav the potential to get endorsed. Here are things to consider hat are not listed in your list.

How many opensource contributions do you have? If you have more than one then put one in the mandatory then the other in OC2.

What is the track record of your open source contribution? Are these just recent or commits you have made over time with recognition from your peers?

for OC2, i tjink you should separate your contribution to stack over flow and opensource

OC2 evidence 1 (open source) OC2: Evidence 2 (stack overflow). OC2 Evidence 3 (Talks or conference speaking that have had a significant viewership) Be careful not to put too many evidence in three pages best to priotise quality over quantity.

OC3 evidence 1 (employer reference letter with detaila nd metrics of your impact) OC3: Evidence 2 (architectural diagram +github commits) OC3 Evidence 3 (employment contract should not be same as MC)

Also ensure you CV is aligned with your linked. Importantly, if you are applying for promise your experience should be less than 5 years.

Thank you very much @Francisca_Chiedu. The open-source contribution is one and was done around 2022. Dunno if that counts as recent  .
I was able to resolve a major issue on the project which fellow contributors recognized.

Other than that, My career started 2019… That means I should be applying as a talent ? based on the evidence mentioned above, do you think I have a shot applying as a talent ?

I can’t say if you can apply for talent or promise. The quality of your evidence will determine if you are considered an established and recognised leader in the field.

Assessor loves numbers. I suggest that your OC3 should focus on the KPIs, numbers, or anything that has business impact, rather than prove that you work there, a diagram to show how it looks like, or etc. Focus on what you and the project had deliverered. What are the success you have measured from it that you, your leaders, or colleagues care about the most?

Your MC needs improvement.

I think MC is your contribution to the industry and your influence.

Salary doesnt work that much.

Thank you guys. I appreciate the input.

@Francisca_Chiedu do you advise creating a PDF file for your screenshots and it as a link in your evidence instead of clogging it in 3 pages? cc: @pahuja @alexnk

Screenshots as part or evidences help. You can still provide links to more screenshots but do include important one in the document.

You can try to external link it to a google drive / dropbox, but you cannot expect the assessor to click those links though. This technique is just for the additional evidence, but not important evidence. Therefore I suggest to include important evidence into the 3 pages by shrinking them and explain each screenshot under each box.

Thank you everyone.

Final question guys

Does TechNation see working on multiple roles at the same time as an issue?

Thanks in anticipation

I never see that it has been an issue.

Just one exceptional case, if both of them are identified as “full time” though, you may need more explanation on these.

Guys… Please I am trying to submit my documents on the technation site and I am confused at the evidence files section on the application form.

What is been asked of me there; is the name of the file I uploaded or the evidences I have in those files for review or I have to fill in links to the file.
