Hi, does it make sense to have the following for OC2:
Evidence 1: 3 articles written by me around digital technology topics and the publisher’s view stats
Evidence 2: 2 articles written by me around digital technology topics and the publisher’s view stats
Evidence 3: Ebook and course published by me and the enrolment stats.
Essentially, the key thing I am trying to determine is if providing articles as first evidence and also as second evidence is generally acceptable.
Evidence 1 and 2 should be the same evidence - if used in the same OC. Evidence 3 can be different. Also, don’t articles and publications actually fall under MC? I don’t think an ebook and course fall under OC2 either.
Evidence 1 and 2 should ideally be grouped as a single piece of evidence under OC2, especially since both are articles related to digital technology with view stats. This keeps your application concise and avoids redundancy.
Regarding Evidence 3 — while creating an ebook or course shows initiative, it may not fully meet the OC2 criteria. According to the official guidelines, it states that; “…your own participation in educational activities (including formal education or courses) is not sufficient as evidence.”
OC2 typically requires recognition for contributions to the wider tech community—such as open-source projects, conference speaking, mentoring, or publications on recognised platforms. You may want to consider a stronger alternative if available.
please, are reference letters supposed to be added to the 3 paged evidence?, like if i have an evidence with a reference letter, out of 3 pages, i can add 1 page of reference and another page of signature log from docusign? or i can just add a link to the letter via google drive link
