"Media Mention" Need help to understand

Hello All
For MC , one of the evidences is media Mention
I am trying to understand if positive reviews shared by app user about the app can be counted as valid evidence?
For example if someone is/was key engineer at product led company whose products are available on PlayStore and people wrote how it’s been helpful

As per the clear example of Tech Nation, I don’t think that will be a valid media, and it is too far to meet Tech Nation’s expectations.

  • Published material in professional or major trade publications or major media about the applicant related to the applicant’s work in the digital technology sector. You must include the title, date and evidence that you are the author of such published material and any necessary translation.
  • Also note that evidence of media recognition should include details about the publication and target audience. LinkedIn or Medium are not considered sufficient as evidence. Internal company awards, training or certificates are also not sufficient for meeting this criterion. Where possible evidence should include supporting data such as number of page views, downloads or other quantifiable metrics.

Can website page of a mentoring platform where someone spoke and people wrote about the talk’s
benefit be considered as a valid for media mention?

I am not sure what you mean by “pitch” but I think I’ve shared something about industry-level media outlets on one of your threads here: Can Apple AppStore app publication count towards "Media Publication" for MC?

An example that I have experienced is featuring on the front cover of an industry (e.g. IEEE) magazine.

I am not sure if I understood them correctly about two points. So far what I know is two different key words Media Publication and Media Mention have different meaning

Media Publication is publication someone published let’s say some article about applicant’s field or about digital technology in general. Here the auther is applicant himself

Media Mention is someone who is mentioning applicant and his achievement in his field. Here applicant has not published anything but he/she is being mentioned by someone else (let’s say some author in XYZ website)

So that thread is for Media publication and here my question is media mention.

As per my understanding above is suitable to media publication but I am bit confused about media mention as I cannot find any example in list which could be media mention

Yes, I did give examples in the link that I shared.

Also, they are not the same.

As you have clearly identified - media publication is by you, media mention is about you.
