MC Criteria - Not for profit

In this Section - " * You led the growth of a non-profit organisation or social enterprise with a specific focus on the digital technology sector, as evidenced by reference letter(s) from leading industry expert(s) describing your work, or as evidenced by news clippings or similar evidence."

Does: Not for profit has to be in Technology sector or my work for them has to be in technology center?

I got this in my review “Although the applicant’s contributions to the XXX non-profit are admirable, the organisation’s primary focus is on supporting underprivileged students and does not operate in the digital technology sector. As such, the applicant’s work with this organisation cannot be considered evidence of industry recognition within digital technology.”

I think work for Non profit in technology should be okay. But is it strong for MC depends upon quality of evidence. Do you mind sharing whole feedback?

This was the only one liner feedback on that evidence nothing else. Rest all was OC2, 3 and generic.

In Evidence

  1. I presented my work with imapcts: donation page, design archieture, donation generated and etc
  2. Evidences of my technical designs
  3. Supported by a letter from the secretary of of the organisation highlighting the same above

I think in appeal you can reiterate their focus on technology work and third party acknowledgment of impact of your work by secretary of org as acknowledgment. You can’t provide new evidence

Yes, it’s the same as workplaces - either technical work or a business role at a digital product lead company

  1. Technical applicants (i.e. programmers) from non-technical organisations are eligible.
  2. Non-technical applicants (i.e. business roles) from technical organisations are eligible.
  3. Non-technical applicants from non-technical organisations are generally not eligible.
