Mandatory Criteria - Evidencing with Non-profit experience

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of evidencing my mandatory criteria (exceptional promise), and I will appreciate your feedback .
I am considering bullet point 3 under Examples of relevant evidence could include: (attached)

I worked in a product lead organisation before 2017, and I currently work in one. However, from 2017-2021, I worked as the head of ICT in an internationally recognised NGO ( non-governmental organization) where I designed and developed a mobile application (digital health product) that is currently being used by over 1000 health workers in my country. The launching of the app was well-publicised in media publications. Although my name did not appear in any of the publications, but a few of them indicates that the product was built in-house. I also have additional evidence to show that I worked on the product.
Please, do you think using this as part of my evidence will be okay?

Thank you in advance for your help.

It looks to me like a good evidence to use for mandatory criteria. Reference letters are usually not enough so would be great to also have other external sources that are verifiable.

Hi @May , thank you for your suggestion. I agree that including external sources in addition to reference letters can be helpful in providing a more comprehensive understanding of my qualifications. I will keep this in mind. Happy holiday!

This is tricky, as head of ICT did your work involve writing code? If so then you can apply as a technical applicant working in a nontech organization.

Hi @Francisca_Chiedu,

Yes, my work as head of ICT did involve writing codes. In fact, one of my primary responsibilities as outlined in my employment letter is code writing. I will take your suggestion into account as I prepare my application. Much appreciated @Francisca_Chiedu

It’s good your responsibility includes writing code and I believe you have evidence that you wrote code in the product development.

Under the mandatory, you can use an employment letter and a reference letter(if you can get it) as part of your mandatory evidence(as one evidence).

Thank you @femibiwoye

I appreciate your contributions/suggestions. In terms of using my employment and reference letter as part of my mandatory evidence, I will definitely follow your advice.
