Hi all,
I’ve searched the forum but can’t find much about this.
In the TechNation guide, under the Letters of Recommendation section, these are the listed requirements. I am specifically asking about the bolded one:
Each letter must:
- Be about your Global Talent application - you cannot use a letter that was written for another reason
- Explain how the author knows the applicant; and
- Knows the applicant’s achievements in the relevant field; and
- How the author considers the applicant shows exceptional talent or promise; and
- The contribution the applicant would make to the UK digital economy; and
- Explain what plans you have for work in the future.
How in depth should my recommenders go? Is it just “she plans to work as a software engineer in the UK startup sector”. Just say in what field I plan to work? Or does it need to be more detailed?
My instinct is to not have them take up too much space on that but I’m second guessing myself!
