Letters of rec: How did you manage adding signatures?

Hi all — I have a few questions about the letters of recommendation requirement. Thanks in advance for any guidance you’re able to provide here!

Here are my questions:

  1. What did the process of gathering and submitting these letters look like for you? Did you upload the letters from your references into a tool like Docusign and then send that back to your references to sign? (I’m curious about this line from the guide: “Letters of recommendation can be created using a digital signature service (such as DocuSign or similar service), enabling the inclusion of the document log file that clearly indicates the letter’s author and signature originated from a different IP address to the applicant.”)

  2. In the application itself (which I haven’t been able to access yet as I don’t want to trigger my 15-day window just yet), do you simply upload these letters as PDFs?

  3. I know that the letters must be submitted along with the author’s CV. Does the author need to include this as part of their letter, or can I tack a screenshot of each author’s LinkedIn profile to the end of the PDF I’ll upload for their letter?

That’s exactly what I did, get letter from them and create a docusign and sent it back to them

Yes, I did. Exported PDF with additional page that has IP address of both the parties

I just included LinkedIn link and also a screenshot of their LN homepage if space persists
