Letter of recommendation - Know the recommender for more than 2 years but workex was 9 months

Hi,

I am requesting a Letter of Recommendation from a well known expert in the Digital Product domain. I know her for more than 2 years. But my work stint with her was 9 months. Can I still get a letter of recommendation from here?

But she knows what work I have been doing for more than 2 years. Any help would be deeply appreciated, thanks a lot! :pray:

I’d say it’s all about presentation; it is your application, so control the narrative. The recommender has known you for 2 years, I’d suggest that’s all they need to know when describing how she knows you.
That way, she can focus mainly on writing on what she knows about your work, its impact and how it makes you exceptional.

The assessors do not know you or your story or your timeline, you get to present it to them however best you see fit, so try to keep that in mind instead.
