Hello everyone,
I would like to check if any of you all can review my evidences for the process as Exceptional Promise. As well if for any reason is rejected can I reapply?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or feedback.
Mandatory Criteria:
1. Contract for my current company in the UK:
I am showing my salary, my role in the company, time in the company as well as the Permanent position for the company.
2. Support Letter Highlighting Leadership:
I am showing my salary, my role in the company, time in the company as well as the Permanent position for the company.
Letters from senior professionals (Global Head of Data) from my previous company mentioning about my leadership.
These letters are used to reinforce and validate the evidence submitted under this criterion.
Optional Criteria 2 – Innovation Product
Innovation Recognition Letter: Recommendation highlighting my leadership in developing and deploying the CV Optimiser, an AI-driven tool automating resume processing tasks
Evidence includes: Detailed evidence including architecture diagrams, task management, code contributions, product UI improvements, and measurable impacts demonstrating substantial reductions in manual workload and error rates.
Optional Criteria 3 – Product-led Digital Technology
Product Letter: Recommendation highlighting my leadership in developing a PII/PHI Detection toolkit. This advanced anonymisation solution greatly improved data security and operational efficiency, significantly reducing incident response time, minimising data breach risks, and redirecting resources towards strategic initiatives. The tool notably increased customer trust, enhanced compliance standards, and facilitated growth by attracting new internal clients.
Evidence includes: Comprehensive evidence covering the tool’s architecture, workflow, code contributions, market readiness, and measurable KPIs. Demonstrated outcomes include significant reductions in response times, enhanced operational efficiency, clear visualization of anonymisation results, and improved GDPR compliance. The provided documentation also details strategic deployment initiatives and successful client adoption.
Your evidence structure looks solid for Exceptional Promise, but I’d recommend strengthening a few areas before submission. Your mandatory criteria with the UK contract and leadership letters are good foundations. However, make sure your recommendation letters come from different companies and highlight unique aspects of your work rather than repeating similar points. I’ve seen applications rejected when multiple letters from the same organization suggest limited industry recognition.
For your innovation evidence around the CV Optimiser, focus heavily on quantifiable impacts and technical depth. Include specific metrics like processing time reductions and error rate improvements. Your PII/PHI Detection toolkit has strong potential for OC3, but ensure you clearly demonstrate how this contributed to a product-led digital technology company’s growth. Document the tool’s adoption metrics, client feedback, and business impact with concrete numbers. The architecture diagrams and workflow documentation will help reviewers understand the technical complexity.
One critical point - organize your evidence meticulously with clear file naming that matches each criterion. Avoid any Google Drive links or external references as these lead to automatic rejections. Each piece of evidence should have a brief summary explaining its relevance to your chosen criteria.
it’s clear you’ve put a lot of thought into aligning your experience with the Global Talent Visa criteria, which is a great start. That said, there are a few areas you might want to tighten up before submitting. For your Mandatory Criteria, while showing your UK contract, role, and salary is helpful, that alone won’t meet the requirement. The assessors are looking for more than employment details — they want to see concrete evidence of leadership, impact, and recognition within a product-led tech environment. The support letters from senior professionals are great, but they should go beyond validating your employment and really speak to your influence, strategic thinking, or initiatives you’ve led.
For your Optional Criteria, the projects you’ve mentioned sound promising, especially the AI CV optimiser and the anonymisation toolkit. However, make sure each project is presented with a strong narrative showing what you built, how you built it, and the measurable outcomes. For example, quantifying the reduction in manual workload, improved efficiency, or increased adoption will make a huge difference. Architecture diagrams and code contributions are great, but they need to be backed by evidence of real-world application and value. It’s also important that the innovation is clear — that what you created is solving a new or complex problem in a unique way.
Also, keep in mind that while one letter can validate a piece of evidence, try not to rely too heavily on recommendation letters to do the heavy lifting. Your documents should speak for themselves with clear structure, stats, screenshots, and impact. Finally, yes — if your application is rejected, you can reapply, but I’d recommend being strategic about what’s missing, and not rushing into a resubmission without refining those weak points. Hope this helps, and happy to share more input if you need it!
