Is Exceptional talent a bit risky?

I have 5+ years of experience and I am working currently in NHS as a Data scientist. I have many publications and got some evidences as follows:
Mandatory evidence:
Outside of my work, I have been an advisory consultant for a startup, got a letter for that.
I have published many papers which are published in research journals and conferences

Optional evidences:
Extra reference letters from previous organisations
Github contributions
Patent filed by the client company which is showcasing name of the company I was working with
A news of competition I won in RSNA
Professional certifications
Github summary.
Recent salary slips from NHS

Though my work is research based, I am not earning salary around 100K. On this forum, I am seeing people who are getting GTV for exceptional talent are mostly directors, managers or startup founders.

So, is it risky for me to apply for Exceptional talent? If they feel my profile is not good enough, will Tech Nation would say to apply through Exceptional promise directly or do I have to apply again?

Hi,

I’ve seen applicants applying for promise and get endorsed for talent & vice versa. It depends on your submission and TN assessment outcome.

Hi @Gunjan_Naik the ultimate endorsement or decision to endorse for Promise is not based off if your profile didn’t meet Talent route and is good enough for Promise.

It’s based on whether you have less or more than 5 years of experience.

I applied for Promise but got assessed and endorsed for Talent.
