Your profile shows strong technical achievements, but there are several critical areas that need immediate attention based on recent rejection patterns I’ve seen. First, your mandatory criteria evidence needs to demonstrate true national or international recognition rather than just professional competence.

Your startup founding role has potential but needs better individual impact documentation. Assessors now demand proof of personal contributions versus team achievements. Instead of generic “founding engineer” claims, document specific technical innovations you personally built, measurable outcomes you directly caused, and external recognition of your individual work. The $400K annual savings needs timestamped proof of your personal technical contributions that led to these results.

For conference speaking, consolidate your 6+ Google Dev Fest events into a single strong evidence piece showing progression and impact. Focus on the event with 1,000+ attendees and highlight any field-advancing content or adoption of techniques you presented. Many recent rejections fail because speaking evidence doesn’t prove sector advancement - show how your talks influenced others or changed industry practices, not just attendance numbers.

Your Optional Criteria selections need strategic refinement. OC2 works well for your mentorship and open-source contributions, but ensure the mentorship was part of structured programs with selection criteria.

The biggest risk I see is evidence authenticity concerns that are catching many applicants now. Ensure your recommendation letters use completely different writing styles, avoid any template language, and include specific personal anecdotes from each referee. Get letters from external stakeholders who can verify your impact independently, not just colleagues or employers. Tech Nation is now conducting forensic-level verification of digital signatures and cross-referencing career information across platforms.

Thank you @Akash_Joshi

It is clearly stated that I architected the blueprint from the CEO’s reference letter. In my evidence, I will also provide:

  • A screenshot of my GitHub profile showing my contributions in the repository,
  • Some commits,
  • An architecture diagram of the application.

I focused on these aspects rather than only highlighting my role as a founding engineer. In addition, I have a reference letter from a senior manager in the company confirming my technical contributions.

For all mandatory evidence, third-party verification is included such as reference letters, media outlets covering my speaking engagements, and media mentions of my software.

For mentorship, I ensured it was structured and internationally recognized. A certificate and a reference letter were also embedded.

Regarding OC3: I did not use OC1; I applied under OC3. i focused on technical contribution also mentioned i open source one the features which got about 96 stars

All fonts are different across my recommendation letters, and DocuSign was used. A CV is also attached, along with my phone number for verification.
