Examples of internationally recognised prizes or awards for excellence

One of the examples for Mandatory criteria mentions

  • You have received nationally or internationally recognised prizes or awards for excellence specifically in the digital technology sector, as evidenced by the award itself, reference letter(s) from leading industry expert(s) describing your achievement, or as evidenced by news clippings or similar evidence.

Apart from obvious awards such as the Nobel prize or Turing Award, what other awards/prizes are considered in this particular example? Would stuff like cloud certificates or educational archivement (e.g degree from top schools) count? If anyone has experience with this, I would like to hear about it.

Cloud certificates and educational achievement or degree is not considered an award. An award could be something given by industry bodies like Nasscom in India, Forrester, Gartner, or any industry body in your field. I showed a forrester award for a campaign i created as part of mandatory criteria.

Actually, I saw many people are using Hackathons etc. as a piece of evidence. It looks like I will use it too.

I’m a Founder of a Mobile app and have received a Certification form EdTech EDTECH edtechweek.com? Would the certificate count as proof?
