Looking forward to hearing from the house.
@Francisca_Chiedu I would love to hear what your thoughts are.
What do you mean by you participated, anchored, and mentored in different role Hackathon?
Three different hackathons over the years.
I participated in the first one being part of a team.
The second one I anchored the hackathon as a moderator (it was a national hackathon)
And third one, I was a mentor for one of the teams that was competing in the hackathon.
The approach is to talk about all three in a document.
Thank you.
What’s the profile of your recommenders?
- How does the op-ed taking about the SDG demonstrate that you are a leader? How does it relate to tech.
- For the speaking event, is it a sector leading event? Aside reference letters from organiser, do you have pictures, poster or other publicly verifiable evidence showing you spoke at the event?
- Hackathon participation, did you win or just participated. What evidence are you showing and how does it show you are a recognised leader.
OC2- what do you mean by teaching or mentoring NGO, students and tech communities? Are these related events?
What do you mean by case study from a project
Generally, I think your evidence may be similar to what is listed in the tech nation guide but they don’t demonstrate how you meet the criteria.

CEO of my Current Company
CEO of my previous company
CEO of a tech company I worked with. All in the tech space.
-
The Op_Ed is a coding for grassroots initiative which I started and it talks about the goal of getting more people into tech in Nigeria at a young age.
-
Yes, it was a tech event, I have posters and pictures but they are not publicly available anymore. The organization was dissolved.
-
I won the hackathon. Showing pictures of awards, links to the events. In OC2 the mentoring and the teaching are to show my outside contributions and they are all tech related. At tech hubs and also events.
The case study is to show significant contribution at work, from identifying the problem to building the solution, and also the impact that the solution has had.
So far, you’re saying I have evidences that are in the guide, you’re just not yet seeing how it demonstrates that I meet the criteria?
Thank you.

I really have nothing to add, these days it is not enough to have evidence, just ensure you have explanatory note to demonstrate how your evidence show you are a leader at the forefront of your field, how your work has advanced the sector and clearly articulate your impact. All the best.
