Endorsed as Exceptional Talent – Reapplication Journey

I am happy to share that I have been endorsed today as an Exceptional Talent.

This was my second attempt. My first application was submitted on 21 August 2024 and was unfortunately rejected on 8 October 2024. I submitted an appeal soon after, but the endorsement was not granted.
Despite the setback, I took time to review the feedback carefully, strengthen my evidence, and rebuild my case with greater clarity. I submitted my reapplication on 26 March 2025 , and today I received the endorsement.
To those currently going through this process, please remember that a rejection is not the end. With focus, learning from feedback, and a strong revision of your case, success is still very possible. Stay persistent.

Also, for anyone considering an appeal or review, you can submit a transcript along with the appeal or review form. In the transcript, you can explain your points in detail. This was something I did not find clearly mentioned in this forum. I asked the Home Office via email, and they confirmed that including a transcript is allowed and can be helpful to clarify your arguments.
I hope this helps others going through a similar situation. Feel free to reach out if you have questions about the process or need support. Thank you to everyone in this community who shares their journey and advice. Specially thanks to @pahuja @Francisca_Chiedu .

Thank you
In the review form, there were only four text boxes available for providing rejection reasons and clarifications, with limited space in each box. However, my application was rejected for 7–8 different reasons, which made it difficult to address all the points within the form. I contacted the Home Office for guidance on how to manage this, and they advised me to attach a transcript along with the review form. In the transcript, I have provided a detailed explanation and clarification for each rejection reason.

Congratulations :tada:, very happy for you, must be a journey for you.

@mahesh3110
Is there any particular format you need to follow for this transcript? and how do we attach or submit this with the appeal? Is there any particular process to this?

Please let us know. It would be really helpful to understand this.

Congratulations :partying_face: please I have a question, on letter of recommendation, will they be adding the CV to the letter to make it 3 pages? or is it 3 pages of written words and then a separate document for CV?

@pahuja @Francisca_Chiedu
Please assist me with this. Thank you

Cv is not counted in 3 pages limit.

Got it, so separate then. thank you

@yashkotha During the appeal process, you need to email the Home Office with the completed appeal form attached. You can also include your transcript in the same email.

The Home Office hasn’t specified a required format, but what I did was compile everything into a single PDF. In that PDF, I clearly outlined the reasons for the non-endorsement along with my clarifications for each point. The structure I used was as follows:

Reason 1: [Insert reason for non-endorsement]
Clarification: [Your response or clarification addressing Reason 1]

Reason 2: [Insert reason for non-endorsement]
Clarification: [Your response or clarification addressing Reason 2]

…and so on for each point raised in the decision.

This format helped me present my case clearly and professionally.

Hi Mahesh,

I hope you’re doing okay. Congratulations on your endorsement.

Please I’d like to ask, what exactly do you mean by transcript in this situation? I want to appeal, and i was hoping further clarity on this might assist my process.

Thank you,

CV is not counted. Also if you used digital signing, the log/certificate page is not counted as part of the 3 pages.

In the Tech Nation appeal process, a “transcript” typically refers to a written, point-by-point response or breakdown provided by the applicant, explaining why they believe the original endorsement decision was incorrect or unfair.

It’s not an academic transcript - rather, it’s your personal statement of argument during the review/appeal phase of a Global Talent Visa application.

You do not need to create a separate document for your “transcript.” Instead:

  • Tech Nation includes a text box labeled “Transcript” in their appeal submission form (typically via a GOV.UK platform or through the email instructions they send after a rejection).
  • That textbox is where you paste your written response, which functions as your appeal argument or rebuttal.

@Ego_Joseph_Oborakpor You’re right that the transcript typically refers to a written, point-by-point response or breakdown provided by the applicant, explaining why they believe the original endorsement decision was incorrect or unfair.

However, it’s important to note that there is no specific text box labeled “Transcript” in the appeal submission form. Instead, applicants can create a separate document for the transcript and submit it alongside the appeal form.

In my case, I submitted a separate document file with my appeal form via email, and I received confirmation from the Home Office that both my appeal form and transcript were forwarded to Tech Nation.
