Documents required for Stage 2

Hi all
my Indian friend recently got his visa from outside the UK. He told me that he submitted only his endorsement letter and passport as stage 2 documents

however, the document checklist, which appears after you pay the stage 2 fees, requires many documents including a proof that my dependants will remain at home country? I mean why? I want to take them with me.

It also requires many other documents such as bank statement, house deed and plane ticket.

What did you guys provide for Stage 2?

I had provided documents as per checklist to be on a safer side. I guess checklist is not customised to global talent visa documentation requirements and there is evident mismatch
