Do we need to be employed while applying for ILR (fast track GTV)

Do we need to be employed at the time of applying ILR from GTV (Fast track) because my contract just covers 2yrs and 9 months?

It’s not a requirement to be in employment while applying for the visa

Sorry. I mean apply for ILR after 3 years of GTV visa. I am already on this visa.
