I have finished putting together my evidences and would like to submit however my passport is still being processed and would be available in about 2 weeks.
Do I need any detail on my passport to apply for the endorsement or is it optional at this stage?

Your passport is on of the important documents you’d use during your stage1 application because you’d be required to submit information such as the passport number, issue date, and expiry date.
You’d also be asked if you can provide it on request.
I’d advise that you wait till your passport is ready before commencing your application. While waiting, you can use that time to go over your documents and even the tech nation guide again and again.
