There is a new rule on 17 July that students are required to complete the course before applying for a working visa. Does it affect GTV? I still not complete my course yet although passed my viva. I just got my biometric on 18 July. I applied and paid for NHS on 8 July.

If concerned speak to an immigration lawyer. If you applied before the rule was made, it shouldn’t impact your application. The rule also allows PhD students to switch after 24months of study, if you have done your viva, I don’t think you should be affected.
The thing is I do not know which day is considered to be the application day. The biometric day or the day of paying NHS. Anyway, I applied and just wait for the result. I cannot do anything else. Thanks
