Completed a PhD focused on applying machine learning in the finance sector.
-
Over 15 years of experience in risk management and process optimization within the insurance industry. Although my primary role was outside the digital tech sector, I have gained substantial experience in technology as a freelancer.
-
Evid.1: Published several papers in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals on machine learning in 2014.
-
Evid.2: Founded a Fintech (RiskTech) company in 2023.
-
Evid.3: As a freelancer and product manager, I contributed to the design and development of a RiskTech software tailored for risk assessment, specifically for local insurance companies. I secured contracts and sold three licenses to insurers. Each client provided a certificate detailing the transaction, including my name, role, software specifications, and sales amount, as well as installation and delivery confirmation.
-
Evid.4: Developed the backend of a machine learning-driven insurance recommendation system (RS) using Python and sold it to a local broker, serving as both product developer and manager. The client, an insurance broker, provided a certificate detailing the transaction, including my name, role, software specifications, sales amount, and confirmation of installation and delivery.
-
Evid.5: Received an endorsement from a Canadian designated organization for the Start-Up Visa program, based on the development of the insurance recommendation system (RS).
-
Evid.6: Received an endorsement and nomination as a talent from the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
-
Evid.7: Received letters of appreciation for my speech at Insurtech events.
Please note that, since the development of the software was private, I do not have a GitHub account. Recently, however, we created a new account specifically to improve the code privately for RS software. Additionally, there is no press release available for the software.
Regarding the application for Exceptional Talent:
1- I assume that the published papers from 2014 (Evid.1) would not be acceptable. Is that correct?
2- I also believe that providing a snapshot of the software, including its code and interface, along with reference letters from clients, would not be deemed acceptable. Is that correct?
3- The letters of appreciation do not specify the number of audience members.
Please assess the following evidence:
A- Evid.2, Evid.5, and Evid.6 for MC.
B- Three different Evid.3 and one Evid.4 for OC1.
C- Three different Evid.7 (letters of appreciation for speeches at Insurtech events) that do not mention the number of audience members for OC4.
