Apply from outside the UK for endorsement from a country I can live in but am not resident - ok?

Hi all!

I have USA and EU passports. I wanted to apply from Germany (Im living here for a few months) whilst registering my place of residence as USA. That’s still ok, right?

From Gov.UK, seems it’s not.

Bur from real world practice, it should work.

should be fine as long as you are legally resident there.

according to the website, looks like it’s ok as long as I have permission to live there for 6+ months which I do :slight_smile: Don’t think I actually have to be legally resident there!

have permission to live more than 6 months are considered as residents in most of the countries.
