Please help, should I add my partner into the the dependant details?

Hi everyone, could you please help me with my visa application?

I’m currently applying for the stage 2. I add the information of my partner into the Spouse / partner details. However, next it asked me to fill the Dependant details and stated that dependant is financially dependant, it really confused me. The question is, my partner is my “dependant”, but he does not rely on me financially. He has some savings and is looking forward to coming to the UK to start his own business. In this situation, should I add his information into the dependant details?

If you think he is not your dependant then don’t add him. You can add your kids and parents if they depend on you financially.
